The founder of Avenue Capital Group also sold his penthouse suite with his wife for $9.5 million.
- Two days after representatives of Kenneth Griffin, a hedge fund manager, and Vernado Realty trust, the developer, signed a deal for the purchase of a home, it was recorded.
- The records for highest sold homes were held earlier by Michael Dell who bought his for $100.5 million and Barry Rosenstein for $137 million.
- Of all the purchases for a home that had high price tags these 2019 and that were recorded, Kenneth Griffin’s purchase dwarfs all of them.
