New York City has always been known for its prime real estate, and in 2019, things don’t look any different. Downtown Brooklyn is a the top of StreetEasy’s list because of its buildings, proximity to several subway lines and its decent rent prices. While most of the other neighborhoods on this list remain in Brooklyn, a few outside it made the list because of their affordability. Bedford-Stuyvesant, Crown Heights, and East Flatbush were at the top to middle of the list because New Yorkers are looking cheaper places to live.
