As the largest city in the United States, New York is a site of near-constant real estate development from a wide variety of developers and a wide variety of use cases, from a 145,000 square foot affordable housing complex on 4790 Broadway, to a 39 story skyscraper on Eagle Street in Brooklyn from the Greenpoint Landing project, to a $42 million condo complex on the on the Upper East Side at 86th Street. Most of this real estate growth is being driven by two companies, Brookfield Property Partners and the Gotham Organization .

- The Willoughby street project was scaled down project that was done by the developer but despite that it still took the number one spot.
- The luxury condo tower that was built by the Naftali Group and Rockefeller Group took the number two position and it is found on 200 East 83rd Street.
